Yes, they are cast aluminum. They do vary with regards to finish and porosity. I have had DeLorean rims both polished and chromed. I prefer the chrome for it's ease in keeping them looking great. In all cases I had the rim, hub and spokes polished and the inner surfaced painted black for contrast and accent. The best deal I found was an outfit in Los Angeles, Calif. that did the strip/polish/chrome and paint for $460.00 complete. If you are interested I can dig out the information or if you would like I will sell you my rims, complete with tires. Contact me off-line if interested.
