Hopefully, the fan will not have any more problems, but I would reccomend keeping an eye on things for a while. If the fan fails again, then it's a sure sign that you'll need to replace the motor(s). I was able to prolong the life of the motor on my car by using some electrical motor cleaner. But as others have posted, this can also wash out lubrication grease, along with the grime (dirty brushes causing a poor connection is what was causing my problem). I've been told that replacement of the fans isn't the easiest task, but isn't impossible. You'll need to drive the car up onto some ramps to remove the sway bar, and then the upper radiator braces, The fan cowl should then unbolt, and easily drop, so that you can remove the fans. -Robert vin 6585 "X"
