Elvis - The OEM "donut bushings" (p/n 108912) can be had here for under $5 US, but they are made of 22 year old rubber. If you go to a Ford dealer and find an equivalent part, it will be better than an NOS DeLorean part (probably), but it will still be rubber. The handling improvements come from reducing "induced deflections", which requires a stiffer material than rubber for the bushings. I would be interested in finding out what the specific application is for the Ford part you're referring to. I can use the cross-reference when talking with urethane suppliers. Any information would be helpful.
