Hello everyone, I am still reading the DML Archives but I wanted to finally introduce myself and get in on the discussion. I have already met some of you. My name is Brent Lundgren from York, Pennsylvania and I am the owner of VIN #17006, a 1983 Canadian model built in September 1982. It has an automatic transmission, two-tone interior and an unusual stainless steel louver. I purchased the car from Virginia Hodges of Baltimore on November 3, 2001. She took good care of it and it shows. I am a member of the Delorean Owners Association and Delorean Mid-Atlantic. Rob Grady inspected the car at the March 2002 Delorean Mid-Atlantic Spring Social and made some recommendations. I attended the Delorean Eastern Regional Car Show in Memphis and I believe I was parked next to James Espey in the second row on show day (he had the banner on the windshield). I took home the second place trophy for cars with 50-75K mikes. Due to a mix-up at the award ceremony, I took home the first place trophy and had to trade with Bruce Benson who was the real first place winner. I was at the Delorean Mid-Atlantic Fall Foliage Tour this weekend in NJ and had a great time even though we got lost and had to follow a Bricklin part of the way. While I'm here, I have a question: Does anyone have any experience with the portable CD players that have the cassette adapter? My original ASI radio still works but I'd like to be able to play CDs without replacing the original radio. Comments? Brent Lundgren VIN #17006 brentlun@xxxx
