There is a right way and a wrong way. The DML archives have plenty of examples of the wrong way where people suggest getting a real long screwdriver and taking the handle loose from the bracket. The right way is to take the bracket off of the inner door while the handle and lower door panel are still together. You reach in diagonally from over the top of the lower door panel. There will be two fasteners -- either large philips screws or hex head bolts. You will need to lift the door handle up (as though you were opening the door from the inside) to get to one of the bolts. To get to the other you need to push/flex one of the door lock rods out of the way. If your car has bolts, it is better to use 1/4" sockets/drives rather than the larger 3/8" because you are cramped for room in there. Walt Tampa, FL
