The Reason that car has a Grooved Hood,is Because that was one of 
MY Delorean's back in 1987-1988 Go to the OLD archives,and type in 
vin # 16686 and YOU will see WHY that car HAS that hood along with 
many,many other "parts". Also see message number 18432(then put two 
and two together.Also you are right I took that hood off a 1982 
Delorean,and put it on that car,(along with many other parts)I never 
payed attention(and back then there was almost no way to know the 
major differences between the hoods.
