Please help- My Delorean won't start...

Hello all,
It has been quite sometime since I've posted- and unfortunately this
time I'm having a showstopper problem. Quick summary- car won't
start- just turns over. Drove it out to a friends place (20 min
drive)- car sat for about 3 hours- came out and it just turns over.
Things I have tried:
1. Checked inertia switch
2. swapped cold start thermo switch (tech manual said it causes 90%
of cold start problems)
3. swapped fuel pump with another (most likely) working one- checked
all hoses made sure nothing was pinched etc.
I then had the car towed to a service station because it didn't seem
like I was getting power to the pump (I didn't hear it buzzing) but
they said it is getting power but it seems like it isn't building
enough pressure?? They recommended a new fuel pump until I told them
I had already tried swapping the pump with one that a friend of mine
had taken off of his '83 model when he first got it. The pump was
working fine- he just wanted a new one on there.
What are my options at this point? Should I bite the bullet and order
a new fuel pump just to completely rule it out as a problem? My other
option is to electrically go through everything (I have some fuses
that are actually melted- so my car is a mess electronically but
seems odd it would work fine for 2 years). I was thinking of
replacing the entire fuse box, fuses and relays- does this sound
logical?
Any insight, help, suggestions are greatly appreciated. I will
continue to search through the back messages. Anyone have a
recommended list of things to go through in a no start condition?
Sincerely,
Jeff Wiltzius
