By placing the car on ramps you cam achieve this. It will keep the weight on the suspension at the same time giving you access to under the car safely. You may want to jack the car up and placing the ramps under the wheels then lower the car onto the ramps. You won't have to worry about driving it up onto the ramp and pray that you have enough ground clearance.
