Thanks for the details Bob. I am seriously considering going to
something like this (if I can find all of the parts). Just a
couple of other questions: 

1. Do you know of any "aftermarket" computers for the
transmission. For instance, does Felpro make one that might
work. 
2. I know that you used a Rover engine. Could you tell me what
the model is/what donor vehicle it might come out of.
