Turning radius is very much dictated by "track" not tire size or height of the tire. The DeLorean front and rear track is extremely wide; almost 63 inches. This very wide track greatly enhances the stability of the car especially when negotiating turns at high speed. Your Jeep can make a tighter U-turn because of its narrow track. In a high speed turn your Jeep will be at rollover potential while the DeLorean loafs around the same turn. Do you want a sports car with great racing type handling characteristics or do you want to make tight U-turns. I don't understand your comment about the DeLorean handling poorly. If your DeLorean does not approach or exceed the handling characteristics of a Porsche, Jaguar, or Corvette you have serious suspension or tire problems.
