I realize that there's a lot to be said for building on the original engine, but the reliability of a well-chosen swap would be nice... What are my options as far as the "easier" choices? Does anyone make adaptor plates for this transmission (the 5-speed) or will I have to fabricate one? What is the current weight and size of that engine? Does it rotate in the standard location?
