Darrin, Disconnect the positive battery cable and remove one fuse at a time. When you pull a fuse, touch the positive cable to the battery and see if you still get a small spark. If you do, put the fuse back and move on to the next one until you don't get a spark. When you get to the one that dosen't spark, you will have found the source of what's draining your battery. Hope this helps, Duke www.geocities.com/at88mph_1999 ----- Original Message ----- From: Darrin Jacobs (Caroline Bolland) <Caroline.Bolland@xxxx> To: <dmcjoe@xxxx>; <dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxx> Sent: Wednesday, February 02, 2000 8:48 AM Subject: [DML] Battery > After fitting a new battery, and not using the car > at all, it was flat within 24 hours. > > Any ideas? > > thanks > Darrin Jacobs > UK > > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > Before posting messages or replies, see the posting policy rules at: > www.dmcnews.com/Admin/rules.html > > To address comments privately to the moderating team, please address: > moderator@xxxx > > ------------------------------------------------------------------------ > > eGroups.com home: http://www.egroups.com/group/dmcnews > http://www.egroups.com - Simplifying group communications > > > >
