What? No Terminator "T-2000"-like shattering? Hmmph, I was expecting the torsion bar to fly into a million pieces.
But if you don't remove the T-panel, how do you get to the torsion bar end? I guess you'd remove the louvers...?!?

You are correct about the procedures for replacing the torsion bar except
that the T-panel does not have to be removed to replace the bar. When the
torsion bar fails it just breaks in half, nothing spectacular.
