I am not suggesting or making any judgements as to what is fair or unfair as far as JZD goes. It's my understanding that his income comes from the many pattens he now holds and if true I suspect that he won't be living out of a shopping cart at the local food mat. I think I feel about JZD the way I do about myself, I hate blatant unfairness and would take great pleasure on reaping revenge on those who have ripped holes in my life, but in the real world the good guys in white hats rarely win, the tax office rarely returns long over due over payments. In a perfect world the scum that attempted to entrap JZD with drugs would have them selves been sent to prison, The bone heads at BofA who would not approve the Hertz deal would have been fired, the political hacks that did the exact opposite of what they should have would have been drubbed. To my knowledge JZD was found innocent of every charge tossed at him. So all this expense represents legal fees only. I have nothing against lawyers, and in fact " one of my friends is an actual practicing one" My feeling about the amounts based on my own business and our use of lawyers is that the fees were excessive given they were for criminal defence. There of course are lots we don't know about JZD and the deals he cut way back when. Lets hope that JZD stays in good health and is able to live the best life he can.
