Here are the initial summary results and times using the Cartest2000 computer model. Available at cartest2000.com. Engine 0-60 1/4 mile speed top speed V-8 6.2 14.7 94.4 143 4 speed auto Supercharged 8.0 15.9 87.3 138 5 speed stick Single turbo 7.2 15.3 90.3 139 5 speed stick Stock D 8.9 17.0 82.7 124 5 speed stick Stock automatic 9.2 16.8 81.0 123 3 speed automatic Yes according to the model, the automatic stock is quicker than the stick. Don't known why. Could be shifting times allowed in the program. Note: this model assumes parabolic horsepower and torque curves based on single peak outputs and rpms. My next step will be to imput individual HP and torque curves and see what the results are. I would have expected the supercharged car to be quicker in the 0-60 than the turbo. Since clearly in the dyno testing the turbo came on later. The only assumption made in my input was HP and Torque loss for the drive trains. The Sticks cars were 30 HP and 30 ft/lbs torque. This was based on the wheel output compared to the listed engine HP. e. g. 130 - 100 at wheel == 30 HP loss to drive train. The automatic cars were 40 HP and 40 ft/lb torque. again based on the test results and list values. Many Thankx to W. Wilson for recommending Cartest2000. It facilitated these initial results. Dr. Bob
