NO NO NO......There is no need to do this. Mark is right on the money follow
his instructions and save yourself some trouble.

There are four tabs in the corners of the vent above the radio, lift the
tabs with a small pick or screwdriver. you can get the radio out
through the vent without removing the console.

You will have more fun getting the vent back in. Check the archives for
the proper procedure.. I doubt you get it back together without the
proper procedure.
