As moderator this week, I just reviewed the messages that were posted so far. I noticed that a number of questions were left unanswered (some lead to tangents but never actually got answers). Most of these concerned alternate sources for parts like shocks and window motors. I also saw quite a few questions asked today that might not get answers (e.g. The Wedding Singer, radio antenna, and Lockzilla questions). The reason they might not receive answers is because the topics have already been covered extensively by the DML. Many subscribers will see the repeat topic and immediately delete the question without responding. If the DML were still running at a ridiculous pace (more than 100 postings per day in September) I would try to discourage these repeat topics. Right now there is room for them. Even if someone does answer them, the response will take at least half a day. If the people asking the questions had scanned the back issues instead, they would probably have found their answers within ten minutes. - Mike Substelny This week's DML moderator
