Ok...I've tested the angle drive by taking a
small screwdriver and inserting it into the hole that the speedo cable goes
into. When I spin the angle drive cable (that the small plastic cap goes
on) it turns the screwdriver easily and dosen't skip a beat. I thought my
problem was the speedometer cable itself so I got another one from PJ
Grady. I installed it. Then before I connected it to the angle
drive, I turned it and the speedometer spins ok. Then I connected it to
the angle drive and it was really hard to turn from the angle drive cable (that
the cap goes on) I know the speedo cable isn't bad. I know thatthe
speedometer is turning from the cable. I know that the angle drive works
(until you hook up the speedo cable) I know that the plastic cap is
attached firmly to the spindle. Could someone please tell me what I'm
missing? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks in advance,
Duke
