Another thing you might check: The electrical connection is on the bottom of the blower motor. At some past time, mine had been hit by something (a shoe? something placed on the passenger floor?). The stud was mechanically broken, but the rubber mounting kept it in place and also in electrical contact SOME OF THE TIME. Acceleration, turning, or bumps in the road would make the motor cut out for minutes, hours, or days. The only solution for mine was to replace the motor.
