Just out of curiosity, what does a good used Porsche automatic cost? The performance increase sounds good, but I don't believe that this will save anyone money vs a new or rebuilt DeLorean transmission. How complex is mifying the mounts, and what do custom (shorter) axles go for since these transmissions are somewhat wider than the original DMC? Transmission + Bellhousing + Axles + Computer + mount fabrication = $? I think this is probably one of those things that you would do for the performance increase or to handle a higher power engine, but not to save money vs buying a new or refurbed OEM trans. Anyone considering this needs to consider the whole picture.
