Hi Sean. It's not possible, as far as I know, to remove that x. It's very easily caused by even light pressure to the hood during surfacing. On my car, it shows up better on hot days than cold due to the expansion of the metal. The only way to prevent it is to use only very minimal force while surfacing. I was very gentle with my car, and still managed to cause a little bit of it. It was surprisingly easy to cause this defect. --- In dmcnews@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx, Sean Mulligan <sean_mulligan@xxxx> wrote: > Does anyone know how to get that unsightly X-crease in > the hood out?
