The light box is a tool you can build that idicates when the car shifts and what gear it's in. Basically, it's just a couple of lights that go on and off. I built one from an article in Gullwing Magazine and it works great. The ends of the govenernor are attached to the tranny and the circuits are in the engine compartment in a black box attached to the rear firewall under the ignition resitors. You can remove the computer and have any of the vendors check it out for you.
