I have replaced the hard plastic hose in my car with a new one from DMCH - mine was cracked. It goes from a small rubber fitting under the center console straight back and through the driver side rear triangular relay compartment into the rear pontoon and turns 90 degrees or so and goes into the engine bay - from there it plugs directly into 1-2" long rubber coupling hose (part escapes me - maybe vacuum advance? - mine is not an OEM part but it looks like a black flying saucer) on the rear of the engine. Regards, Michael Quoting sweitzel_2000 <sweitzel@xxxxxxxxxx>: > Within one day, overnight, it seems like all vacuum to my mode switch > has vanished. Symptoms - no more 'hiss' (yes, i haven't rebuilt my > diphragm yet) also, very easy to turn the switch, and obviously > barely any airflow from the vents.
