You should get an accurate mechanical gauge and put it in instead of the sender unit to see what the pressure really is. It could be a problem with the electric sender, the wiring, or the dash, but first you should see if the gauge is really telling you the actual pressure. It is rare but you could have a problem with the motor itself. Do you have a Perflux oil filter? Have you checked or changed your oil lately? What kind of oil do you have in the motor?
