Have those 8mm wires a special or higher resistance ? If yes - compare them to the original wires. If they are the same - like no resistance - leave them on the car, they should isolate better than the stock wires. By the way - nice to read that those "high voltage" coils fail like I thought. Buy a brand name that has been used in millions of cars and you can be sure that stuff is approved and works. Nice boxes and powerful names don't guarantee for quality.
