Well, I'd consider 1 and 3 to be the same thing (and I've never heard of the electric element failing, and even if it did, you're not likely to notice), 5 and 6 do the same thing, controlled by two different sensors/switches and it's all part of 7, and 8 isn't used on the DeLorean because it has an accumulator.
