B27 and B28 camshafts are constructed from the same material (only difference is cam height). Both engines share the same small oil passage problem to the valve train. Both suffer from excessive wear if oil is not meticulously maintained. There are both B27F's (1976-1979) and B28F's (1980-1987). The engine I purchased last fall is a B27F.
