I just want to go on record as saying that I feel the same way you do,
Ryan.  I know that when someone wishes me a Happy or Merry whatever,
they are doing so as a kind gesture and mean no exclusion.

But at the same time, I think it's important for me to consider that the
person I wish it to may not have such a positive attitude towards the
holiday I'm touting.  I feel that it would be arrogant of me to assume
that such a person is a jerk or uptight, since I don't know what it's
like to be in his shoes.  Okay, I'm done now.  I promise. =)
