Can you prove it?  Or are you just assuming?  Like driving
barefoot? ;-)

If you attached a child saftey seat to the parcel shelf half
as well as a passenger seat belt point, then there shouldn't
be a problem.

John DeLorean says that he used to let his daughter ride up
on the parcel shelf when she was little.
