Wilhelm,
Specifically,
#1 is for the automatic transmission kickdown switch. Out near the
plug for the full-throttle microswitch you'll find another green/green
black, square plug unused, also for the automatic transmission.
Of the other 3;
#1 is indeed for your frequency valve, the rubber booted one is for
the vacuum solenoid as you surmised and the last one is a ground that
is supposed to hook onto a clip on the passenger side (closest corner)
of your intake manifold.
I'll be honest; I have no idea how your engine is running with most of
the important systems disconnected. :)
