No 8mm crush washers anywhere around here.  So I drove down to my 
mechanic's shop on the other side of town.  (The town, for those of you 
who don't know me well, is Houston, so a jaunt over to the other side of 
it during maximum holiday frenzy time becomes an all day trip.)  I came 
home with a pocket full of washers, but alas, there's no more daylight, so

it'll have to go back together tomorrow.

Once I get the rest of the engine back together, I'm going to have to 
figure out where this extra vacuum hose I seem to have found is supposed 
to go.  I wonder if I knocked it off something while working with my plug 
wires or if it simply wasn't connected in the first place.  It doesn't 
seem to be on the chart, but I haven't taken a good look yet.  Maybe I'll 
just feel around until I find an unoccupied nipple.  (I *knew* I could 
segue this thread back into the nipple thread.)

And I think you're right.  Emptying the car of 93 and running some 104 
will probably answer that question.  I bet even a way over advanced PRV 
won't knock on 104.
