Yeah, for $50 + shipping from Spain.  That's about what it
cost me to get it.  For those of you who don't know,
http://www.delorean-steel-products.com
makes a very nice heat shield out of V2A(?) stainless that
works as well or better than the crummy original asbestos.
And it won't fall apart when it gets wet.  This is a special
alloy of stainless that reflects heat, so don't confuse it
with something made from ordinary body panel stainless or
aluminum.  Still, I would like to try out one of those IR
thermometers and compare with other DeLoreans side-by-side.

I bought the option where you get two shields and sandwich
them together with spacers.  It takes up too much room and
is overkill.  One sheet is plenty.
