[DMCForum] Re: Addicted to Old Cars

I feel your pain. Bit like being a serial killer: "Stop me before I
purchase again..." Mark V for sale very close to home is tearing me up
inside -- price is too good to pass up but there is absolutely no more
room in the driveway. Should have collected stamps instead.

The reason you can't understand cars looking better than women is you
collect General Motors. Of *COURSE* a woman looks better than a Buick.
Ford on the other hand...

Actually my first love is American Motors. One helluva car company
(don't be misled by Pacer "coventional wisdom" -- sold 355,000 units.
1974 Matador Coupe is what killed development budget). Still drive
same AMC I drove in high school. Company never "failed" -- was
purchased by Chrysler as ongoing concern. AMC misinformation as
prevalent DMC.

Re: New Orleans -- perhaps that could be next destination after Rich
A's Florida excursion.

Can we all stay at Farrar's place?
