Is it possible that you are the first person in automotive history to have a lug nut break like this? I have two ideas for you: Put a new lug nut on over what is left of the old one. Then tighten the shit out of it until the lug breaks. Maybe you could weaken it first by drilling out the center. Lugs are off-the-shelf items. The variables are thread pitch, diameter & length. They just press in from the back side. My second idea is to try to drive a chisel or punch around the cone to see if you can break it up or loosen it, but I think this would damage the rim. I would try to just snap the lug loose or drill it out. I bet used hubs are cheap. I have some. Walt Yahoo!
