RE: [DMCForum] Just a tought

Technically you are right, however the Cabrio is the "model" name not the
type of car. If you looked at my pictures you will not have seen many
convertibles like this one hence the model name. It has removable hard
top
targa panels up front and a rear soft top. The soft top can be removed
and
a hard top can be added to create a totally hard top car. This is not a
typical Convertible Jaguar. In 1988 there were 132 of these made.

Thanks for the offer though, but another D is the end goal here lol.

Just one small correction. A cabriolet is a convertible, at least
according
to Karmann and they do know something about it. However a convertible is
not necessarily a cabrio, just look at almost every American and Japanese
ragtop ever built.

Jack I don't want to get rid of my D but would you consider an 88
nissan300Z
and a 90 240sx?

Andrei
and a garageless 944s2 Cabrio.

I have been looking at my garage for a while and had an idea... I own a
1988 Jaguar XJ-SC (that's Cabriolet not Convertible) I have in great
condition. For those not sure what this is, please look at my site
www.sacketmansion.com/jaguar . I was wondering if anyone on the list
would
be interested in a trade. Don't flame me, it is just a thought. The Jag
has the v-12 and is a very rare car. I was kind of looking for a good
condition painted car with an automatic. I am not looking at a serious
fixer-upper or junkyard save. If anyone is interested email me off list.

Thanks in advance, and please again don't flame me on this one, just
another
hair brained idea
