[DMCForum] intake leaks

>>This is a good discussion that has got me thinking about my own
problem. If I spray starter fluid at the base of the intake, the
engine should rev if there is a vac leak? Correct?<<

Yes, there should be a change in idle. There are better ways to do it
though. You can listen for them with a scope or hose. Small leaks are
high in frequency and there is even a device made for this purpose
if your hearing is shot in the upper range.

I prefer using propane. It's safer and more controllable, especialy
when used with a pinpoint probe. The only problem is it can migrate,
thats why you should use it with a small probe.
