Yeah, the paint was a bummer, but if that's all I have to complain about
then I'm in good shape. The only paint messing with now is for the engine
cover and louvers for a car show Sept 1.

I was glad about the timing. One thing I learned is that you do need to
keep
the timing chains taut, but it depends on your next step. If you are going
to get into the timing cover anyways, all you need to worry about is
keeping
the chains tight enough so that it doesn't slip a spoke. If you aren't
going
into the timing cover, then they will HAVE to be tight because the
tensioner
will expand making it impossible to slip the timing sprocket back onto the
cam journal.

I will report tomorrow the drivability of the car. Idling is one thing,
power under load is another.
