I dig it the most. I've been studying the wiring diagram most veraciously.

All my measurements have been taken first with the key in RUN and then in
START, just to be sure.

I checked the ECU last night, but didn't really check that it was getting
power. I did check that there was continuity on the white/slate wire from
the ECU to the coil.

So, my plan of action should be to check voltage at fuse 1, then check
voltage at green wire on the ECU.

What gets me is that this whole thing is such a simple circuit. What could
I
have done to create this problem?

Where does the pickup coil come into play? Is this something to worry
about
AFTER the coil is energized?
