This is what I intend to do as well, if I can get the system without the
converters.  Besides, the reduced price will leave me more money to spend

other pieces I need.

Where did you get the $3k figure from? It's advertized as $1500 on their
website. My manifold gaskets are toast too... and I figure as long as I

to go through this terrible process, I'm going to replace the exhaust with
something I really want.
