Aluminum will work.  But you would need two thin sheets with an airgap
between them.  It's basic heat transfer insulation problem.  If you are
interested in doing some calculation to figure out the optimal gap and
material thickness let me know and I will get you the formulas to do it.
It
is very basic math and can be done with a 4 function calculator.

This is the same idea as double pane glass windows.
