I took the one head off, but didn't need to go any further.

You may need a 10 foot extension bar... it can really be tough.  By the
way, there are "flywheel turner" tools that lock the flywheel in place
while you try to turn it.  You can find them at mot large auto parts
stores.

When you bought the donor engine for Vixen, I'm sure you took it 
apart. Did that one give you any trouble?

A 6 FOOT extension bar......? How did your engine guy lock the 
flywheel? I'm sure a tool of some kind but where to get it?

I'm sure if I try to use a screwdriver jammed in the teeth I'll bust 
the flywheel or just the screw driver if I'm lucky.
