This won't answer your question fully...I had the same problem but only the #7 fuse melted in mine and had sunk about 1/2 inch down into my fuse box....the box itself was intact except right around the #7 area....We just made a bypass and now my #7 kind of is a pigtail is all by itself away from the box....no problems so far...
