I'm going to be interested in reading this thread (also catching up after three months in H*LL!) after dealing with aged FL drivers. My horn works and I find it easy enough, but the old bat couldn't hear it and she ran me off the road anyway -- all while I was right in front of a cop! He stopped to see if I was alright and offered to stop and arrest the woman. I didn't think arrest was necessary since neither I nor the car were injured, but she didn't hear the horn or see me in the driver's mirror. Ever since then I've wanted to put something in that gets someone's attention when you sound it.
