This is an interesting point; suppose I buy a Mitsubishi Charisma or a Volvo V40, those cars are both built over here in the Netherlands (on the same assembly line, mixed as they were ordered), yet the marquees are Japaneese and Swedish... To me these cars are NOT Dutch, and I consider my DeLorean to be an American car... But when it suits ME it's an English one; I was a guest at an event for Enlglish cars and was accepted as English without any hassle...
