I used the online downloadable parts manual at http://www.dmcnews.com/ . Plus, I have a pretty good knowledge of cars, so most of it was no problem.
As for where to find a disassembled D, I can't help ya'. They're not too common, and trust me, ya' probably don't want one! =)
