Think of spaghetti and you have a pretty good idea on the amount of additional wiring that has gone into the car. The Sat Nav and head unit are fantastic. I ran the Dukes of Hazzard on it and looked great. Could not hear anything but it looked great. Tested the iPod unit with Kevin's iPod and it worked a treat. One of the most interesting challenges is finding new hiding places for the tuner box, sat nav player, Ipod module, amp and subwoofer. Plus you have all of the Clifford gubbins to hide as well. One interesting point I found out is that you can have additional channels on the alarm split from the originals. Post Eurofest I will go for the remote doors and boot opening. This reminds me. Thanks Glen for putting me in touch with Kevin Harding (authorised Clifford, Viper, Hornet and Avital installer). Kevin has an incredible attention to detail, is quick and worked solidly on the installation from 9.30am yesterday morning until he left which must have been around 6.30pm. He also expressed an interest in further work on DeLoreans. So, if you want to contact Kevin at kharding666(AT symbol)aol.com he will offer any help you may need. I thoroughly recommend him! Please note that the siren and a bonnet switch require some holes to be made, but they are discreet. Also, we were really lucky with the weather, it chucked it down just after Kevin left, so it could not have gone better. I have the amp, subwoofer and the 4x Alpine speakers to wire up to finish the sound system. New seat belts to install if I can get them to work and then refit the rear speaker panels. Removing them with a heat gun is not so bad providing you are patient.
