The accumulator should in no way affect the cold start performance. Except that if replacing a duff accu, the pump now has to pressurise a larger volume before gaining the pressure to fire the injectors. It really helps to allow the pump to prime a couple of times (you can usually hear it when you turn the ignition on but this is a quirk and not all D's do it) Martin willinot wrote: >Maybe this is normal (as Ive had the hot start problem since buying the car) >but it just seems strange that it has to turn over so much before firing. >When she is cold (at least before changing the accumulator) she would start >on the first turn. > >Any ideas or suggestions. > > >Cheers. > >Paul J >Belfast >2493 > > > DOC UK Website: www.deloreans.co.uk Unsubscribe: doc-uk-unsubscribe@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx ** Unless otherwise stated, all messages posted to the group are assumed public and may be printed in the club magazine ** Yahoo!
