I have just noticed (and this will not be news to some) that there is a
calendar for events in the Yahoo group where members can add events
which can be viewed by all

How about if any one has event details they would like to add, they
email them to me and I will add them to the calendar? - of course anyone
can add their own if they want...

That way we can all see when and where events are coming up.

Details like website/email, contact name, location, postcode, brief
description and most importantly dates/times would be helpful. The
earlier dates are known, the better, then we can all plan ahead (for a
change!)

I'll start the ball rolling with some of those that Chrispy has
posted...
