Yes Mike, the car, or the DeLorean just doesn't work. I'm currently well
overstocked with cars!
Lefty (1983), apart from the noise, is the best DeLorean I've ever
driven. It's still only done 1500 miles, but everything is spot on. When
I show it as the BTTF car, folk just don't care or appreciate what they
are looking at, or carelessly climbing into. No holes have been drilled
in it and when Herman (45,000) is all fixed up, Lefty will be all
cleaned up, and a quieter silencer fitted. I can then use her on nice
dry days and perhaps show her occasionally.
Herman will look fine when BTTF-ified, with most folk not able to spot
the swap.
Glen has made me much more interior electrical stuff and when all is
fitted it will look the business.....no side stripes!

Erm, yeah. This is one of the advantages of only owning one car I
suppose. I can refer to it simply as "the car".
I think I see what you are going to do though. Presumably you will be
making "Herman" into a more accurate BTTF conversion (no side stripes I
presume).
So this must mean that "Lefty" will go back to just being a low
mileage example rather than the head-turner it is at the moment.
I can see that not having any holes drilled in the car is going to
prove a very good move if the time circuits and such like are to be
transferred from one car to another.
What's the mileage on "Herman" then Chris?
