Hi Dan
this is the input from connector 1 to idle ecu?
i you removed this connection and then try to start, would you then
get that high idle.
in other words, without a coil signal the ecu reverts to a high idle?
i could then eliminate that problem as a high idle is better than
none!!!!.
i did wonder whether this problem is masking soemthing else wrong
with the system.
oh well all fun to find it anyway.
